Third Thursday Documentary Screening: “How to Blow Up a Pipeline”

Join us for a thought-provoking screening of How to Blow Up a Pipeline—a gripping eco-thriller that explores the moral and strategic tensions behind radical climate activism. Inspired by the controversial nonfiction book by Andreas Malm, this fictionalized film follows a group of young environmentalists as they plan a high-stakes act of sabotage in a desperate bid to halt fossil fuel expansion.

With tension, nuance, and urgency, the film challenges viewers to consider how far is too far in the fight for a livable planet—and who pays the price when change is demanded, not requested.  After the screening, we’ll host an open discussion about the ethics of direct action, the limits of peaceful protest, and the ongoing climate crisis.
