Episode 4* – Discovering the Americas

*Important: Part 5 was aired during January’s event due to technical issues playing Part 4. So This month we take a step back to Part 4 as we finish up the series.

Join us in February for part four of the five-part series of HUMAN, a groundbreaking new documentary hosted by paleoanthropologist Ella Al-Shamahi. This beautifully produced series traces the extraordinary story of how Homo sapiens became the dominant species on Earth—exploring what makes us unique, how we’ve evolved, and what we still share with our ancient ancestors.

🎬 Episode 4: “Discovering the Americas”
During the height of the Ice Age, one of the coldest times humanity has ever known, Homo Sapiens step into the last habitable continent on the planet: the Americas.

🔬 Science Meets Storytelling
This series blends the latest discoveries in genetics, fossil records, and archaeology with stunning reconstructions and global perspectives—making it as intellectually rich as it is visually captivating.

📅 A Monthly Exploration of Humanity
We’ll screen one episode each Third Thursday from September through February, with post-screening discussions about the information presented, how it changes our perspective of our own evolution and what it means to be HUMAN.

This event is free and open to all. Please arrive early enough to get seated by showtime as the film will begin promptly at 6:30 PM.
